We report with great pride that in 2011:
- 227 low-income families received the hand up of Habitat homeownership in Canada; and
- In total, Habitat helped 81,399 families around the world improve their shelter conditions
So, what’s in store for 2012? Even more of the same! Which will continue to be made possible through your support and the support of our partners, as around the world, Habitat for Humanity has the will to pursue our vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live, but without you, there wouldn’t be a way.
So get involved in 2012! There are so many ways you can do so, including:
- Volunteering at your local affiliate office – most affiliates have a number of support committees including for family selection, marketing and communication, and build site support
- Volunteering at a ReStore
- Building homes abroad through our Global Village international volunteer program
- And of course, building homes in your community!
In whatever way you choose to give back to Habitat, we thank you for your support. It’s only because of our supporters that we’ve been able to get this far.
Warmest regards,
Habitat for Humanity Canada
