Smaller Footprints – Make smaller footprints, start with the perfect gift!

Planning a party? Smaller Footprints offers an online invitation service to help with organizing your guest list, sending invitations, and allowing your guests to avoid the time and hassle of hunting for that perfect gift. In addition, Smaller Footprints will also support Habitat for Humanity Canada if selected as your charity of choice!

As a HOST, choose from one of their custom invitations, add your party details, and choose a charity to share a portion of your gift with (from 5%-95%). Then send to your guests via e-mail.

Your GUESTS will receive the invitation in their inbox, along with an explanation of a Smaller Footprints party and the name of the charity you are supporting. They just need to RSVP and contribute what they normally would spend on a gift.

When your event is over, you will receive a Smaller Footprints cheque in the mail for your gift money contributed by your guests. The portion shared with the charity will be forwarded directly to the charity by Smaller Footprints. The tax receipt will be sent directly to you from the charity.

I Dream of Home

Written by Grace Hickey, a ten year old Genworth Meaning of Home contest finalist, this book describes everything that Grace's home in Charlottetown, PEI means to her.

Grace was compelled to enter the contest, being deeply moved by the fact that not everyone has a safe and decent place to live. When she found out that Habitat for Humanity is working towards their vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live, she became a supporter of the cause and entered the Meaning of Home contest. "It's just wonderful that people who are less fortunate get homes to share memories with their families, so they'll always feel safe and loved,” said Grace during a radio interview.

Grace's poem is accompanied by Stephen Farquharson's inspired illustrations, making this book enjoyable for children of all ages.

Please purchase this book for $10 and support Habitat for Humanity's homebuilding efforts in Canada. All proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward Island Inc.
